I have an insurance claim (13/077757) which is being handled so badly at this stage. I have tired to escalate the claim twice now to management.
On Sunday (10th Nov), I had a burst water pipe in my bathroom which prompted me to call SIL.
Thankfully, is was able isolate my house in order to stop the water from flowing since the plumber only came around on Monday afternoon to temporarily "fix" the pipes.
To fix the pipes, tiles needed to be broken out, the wall was opened up to make space for the plumber to work.

After 5 phone calls, I have a water damaged vanity that needs replacing, a hole that needs filing, tiles that need to be replaced, tapes that need refitting. I am tired of phoning around - someone from SIL needs to call me to tell me exactly what needs to happen and it needs to be organised - because where I am supposed to have a basin with working taps, I have a hole in the wall and temporarily fixed pipes - but according the consultants at SIL - the pipes are fixed, therefore all is well.
