Shocking sevice and settlement of my claims

On Monday night when I and my wife got home we saw water flowing through my house. One of the pipes burst in the bathroom inside the wall.
I then phoned my Insurance (ABSA Insurance Company). She told me to get a plumber the fix the situation and then I must submit the claims to ABSA and the will settle my account within 48 ours.
I phoned the plumbers and they fixed the pipe in the wall by removing the tiles and installed new joints and elbows and pipes. The invoiced me for the job and n paid R 2 508.30 for the job. We they tested the system it tripped my electricity the hole time and they realised that because of the pipe burst that let to the drainage of the geyser and that burnt out components like the element.
They fixed that and invoiced me R 2 274.30 for this.
After a big struggle and speaking to 8 different people I submitted my 2 claims to [Email Removed] and now they tell me that ABSA don't cover pipes and elbows ex and will give me R 541.50 back. Why do I have Insurance then?
This is unacceptable and shocking service from ABSA this last week. I want to speak to a competent manager and I will move my Insurance and money to another bank if this is not fixed
