A couple of weeks ago we submitted a insurance claim for water leaks, great the work was completed, a couple of days later we were back at square one water leaking again. Builder or Plumbers? Now the fun starts! We called the call center and spoke to Lindi Nkozi who should not be in a call center to start with but i hope they have the recording and can decide that for them selves. He said he would call the plumbers and get back to me. Great so he calls the plumbers Orsula Trading CC. Within couple of minutes I get told that our pipes are rotten (nothing mentioned on site by the plumber at the time considering that would have been extra business for him) and need to be replaced. -STANDARD EXCUSE- The plumber must have a great memory to remember all his clients over the last couple of weeks!!! So we need to submit another claim another R500 excess. Why must i pay because of bad service and useless contractors. Copper pipes rotten, that's a first for me as the house is less than 20 years old the pipes are in the wall so no wear and tear. Either the plumber did a job or the builder messed up. I think its time to look at other insurance options after 13 years with ABSA.
