I have had problems with the past four claims with this broker. I have had them tell me that a claim is not valid under my policy though when I have later followed up with my insurer, they have indicated that if the claim was lodged within the 30 days, it would have been covered (Not to the fill value, but to the limit specified under all risks)

The last incident was one whereby I specified low kilometers when insuring the vehicle. The reply indicated I was covered. This was not passed through to the insurer, and as a result I have lost out on a large financial component. When I confronted the owner with this, denial was the order of the day, even when presented with the facts on paper (or e-mail in this case).

Previously my broker has had meetings with PG Glass to discuss problems pertaining to the windscreen and subsequent leaks after being fitted, though she did not feel it pertinent to invite me to this meeting, or take minutes of the meeting. Subsequently she was not prepared to disclose what she discussed at the meeting. The problem was never resolved.

My corrective action is that I am reporting this broker to the Financial Services Provider Ombudsman
