CONTRACT NOT EXPLAINED AND NOW WONT PAY OUT CLAIM

I took out vehicle insurance through a broker at Executive Financial Services and when the lady brought the contract to my office was in such a rush that it wasnt explained. I wanted to put my household contents onto my policy too, as well as my cellphone and i-pad. I was told that my i-pad would only be covered if it was from my house (nothing was mentioned about my cellphone and where it would be covered for). My cellphone was out of my pocket at a hospital 7 days ago and upon submitting my claim, was told that i was not covered as i had not specified any electronics after i specifically mentioned it at my office to the broker. I was informed that i would have had to submit my imei and serial numbers for the items to be covered and was not even aware of this until they rejected my claim. Why was i not informed that they would need this before they got me to sign the contract then literally RUSHED to get out of my office. I am absolutely disgusted!
