I have submitted a claim to Miway on the 31/10/2013 as i had damaged my car bumping a bird on the freeway which actually caused significant damage, I have sent through the pictures of the damage and to date i have not recieved any communication from anyone at Miway. I am disgusted at the service that i am receiving especially for a claim of this size, i can only imagine what would happen should my car get or written off, i would probably wait a year. Now i sit with the dilemma where I actually got a friend to join Miway insuring 3 cars with them because i received a good deal and now I will definitely advise him to look for another company that is interested in customer service and willing to assist when claiming. I have never put a claim through any insurer of mine and i must say this really scares me to think that I am paying my premiums religiously for nothing. I would rather pay an additional R200 a month to a company that would ensure that my car is back to its pristine condition after a claim is submitted and that actually cares about their customers. I am UNHAPPY, DISGUSTED and will definitely not settle for this pathetic service. Miway has lost a once impressed customer!
