I've been insured with Miway for almost five years, I have two cars insured with them and I've never made a claim until recently. I was involved in an accident on the 31st of May. A bakkie slammed into my car and hit two other cars. Miway was contacted immediately and it took them three weeks to validate my claim. Was this really necessary I ask, the accident scene explained itself and yet I was made to feel as if I was in the wrong. Getting the claim approved was more traumatic than the accident itself. The claim was approved on Tuesday the 18th but my car is still at the scrapyard maybe gathering scratches and dents.
The claim assessor that handled my claim was very helpful but the entire Miway process itself and customer service is upholling. They took the entire week just to assess the front door and fender damage and then they took the entire week and a half to validate the claim, why don't the two run concurrently I ask?
