Miway's poor service and delay on approving claim

I am a 68 year old pensioner lured into Miways insurance product by the hope of excellent rates and service! I currently have a 2nd ongoing claim that surpasses the shoddy service levels that I received on the 1st claim I had with Miway. Currently I am claiming for a damaged windscreen that happened on 6.1.2013 and have been waiting 4 days for approval. The service I received on my 1st claim was so bad that I decided to look around for another insurer. To compound this shoddy service I recently received a notice of a premium increase. I did find another insurer and at almost R300 cheaper than what I will pay after the increase. I thereafter signed up the new insurer from 1.2.2013 and telephonically cancelled my insurance with Miway effective 2.2.2013. Their call center now tells me that my insurance is cancelled and they need to check the taped recordings to confirm my cancellation date; this is despite me having also already paid my Jan 13 premium! I have called Miway several times only to be told that they are still checking. My son has sent them 3 emails on my behalf and has not received any response. This is surely contrary to the service that Miway advertise. I am dissapointed
