On Saturday the 2nd i received a sms for my debit order regarding my insurance. R1837.00 was deducted where as my actual premium is actually R610.00. i called my insurance broker and he had said that he will check it out on monday for me. i had called him on monday and spoke with him, he said that he will get back to me (which he didnt). i received a mail from the accounts department saying that because of my change of address my premium went up by R1200.00. i had never received any information about this change. nor did i get any mails, post, or sms's. i do think that the work ethic of this company is up to standard. this complaint is purely to make customers aware of the circumstance that i was put through. this matter will be taken further. i think that it is unfair that they can just deduct money from your account with any notice
