STD Ins does not cover hail damage regardless

We had hail storm damage with the storm on the 19th October 2013. Initiated a claim which was once again repudiate due to so called support problems that was assessed by first, a building company which informed the bank that they lack the expertise to repair, and secondly a plumber that did not pick up half the damage, I had to point it out to him. None of these assessors had the expertise to repair this type of Carport and therefore the second assessor found the lame excuse that there was insufficient support for such a long canter lever Carport. Regardless my explanation that the supporting pole fell over due to excessive wind they came with an excuse of "Invalid claim". The previous hail damage claim took over a year to conclude with a settlement that was 3rd of the repair cost. This was after I had to post on Hello Peter. I honestly sincerely pray that you never encounter damage due to hail as your claim will be repudiated because of a lame excuse. This is the second time that I have to complain about Standard bank and their un-professional conduct; I find them easy to draw payment but ALWAYS a major battle for a decent settlement. STD INSURANCE IS A BAD EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME.
