Upon application of a loan, Capitec requested a copy of my ID, Bank Statement & Payslip - which I have sent to them 3 weeks ago.

Thereafter, they contacted my HR consultant to confirm permanent employment.

We were then going to proceed with the loan application, but their system was down.

After that, I was unable to get hold of the advisor for several days because she was on leave. And no one else was able to assist me, not even her Team Manager - even after I left numerous telephone messages.

Now that she's back from leave, she requests even more documents, as well as updated bank statements, to compensate for the interval for which she was on leave!

I have sent her emails requesting that her General manager & the Complaints manager contact me & also be included in all correspondance - but she ignores my requests.

Then she says she needs to reconfirm whether or not I am permanently employed as that is procedure. I did not tell the advisor to go on leave. And whilst on leave, should someone not have taken over her applications, so as to avoid this?

I find this whole exercise to be extremely frustrating!
