Claim handled unfairly

I reported an accident to Outsurance, because they client sideswiped me then he didn't stop on the scene, I followed him then until he stopped, we spoke he said I mustn't worry. The next day which it was the 8/10/2013 he called to give me the claim number to report which I did, then Outsurance sent me the claim to fill and submitted it. Then I call on the 22/10/2013 they told according to their client sketch I'm liable. which I think is unfair and that their take sides because I'm not their client
