Lack of communication regarding ebucks

I've been earning ebucks for a long time but suddenly I stopped earning ebucks even though I have been religiously swiping my card. When I called the ebucks call centre, I was told that I changed my marketing consent to 'no' hence why I don't receive ebucks anymore and I should go into a branch to change it back again to 'yes'. I don't recall changing my marketing preferences and even if I did, I should have been made aware of the consequences. Last friday (18/10/2013) I went to the Randburg Square branch to change my marketing preferences; however I could not be helped because the system was down. I was promised that they will change my marketing preferences as soon as they sorted out the system and someone will call me back once that was done. It is now tuesday (22/10/2013) and I have not had any further communication from the bank. I am quite disappointed with the bank.
