Total debit order mess-up

My insurance debit order has been fulfilled so far with no problem until this month. On receiving my credit card statement there was an extra debit for R59.50 as well as the usual monthly debit. On phoning I was told there was "insufficient funds" & that is a penalty. What nonsense, the debit order is on a credit card. I phoned the bank card division who told me a debit order cannot be refused and in any case my A/C with the CC division, as I well knew is in credit! Of course I was unable to speak to a manager at Auto and General, was fobbed off with the usual 'in a meeting"excuse. I was overseas from October 2nd until 17th, and thus did not receive the usual sms notification. Someone at Auto & General has made a mess-up, and I take offense at being told I had insufficient funds for the debit order, when that is patently untrue. At the very least I expect an apology and a refund and interest on the money they have unfairly extracted.
