Increase of bond instalment

We do make extra payments into our bond acc every month. we withdrew an amount from the credit on the bond and the instalment remaind the same. we then made a deposit into the acc an the instalment increased with almost R500.00. we querried this with the bank and the consultant said it is because of the huge amount of R16000.00 that we made into bond acc. how does this work that if we withdraw funds the instalment do no increase but do when we make a deposit???
