Refuse to correct wrong orders

I ordered a book from the company's website. I paid for it and after a week or so a parcel was delivered. I found that this was not the product that I ordered. They sent me a CD instead of a book, completely different formate and content of what I ordered. The book and the CD do however have the same name. I though it was probably just a mistake, so I phoned the call centre to try and correct it. The lady I spoke to first told me that they do not stock the product that I say I ordered. I explained to her that I was looking at it on their website as we were speaking. She still did not believe me. She told me to email her screenshots to prove to her that I was not lying. I went to the site, made screenshots and sent it through to the email address she provided me with. The next day I phoned again as she did not respond to my mail. I spoke to a guy called Alfred. He was much nicer and seemed to understand my problem. He however also told me that I must send the email again and someone will respond to me by the 14th of Oct. I have however not heard back. I expected that they will just exchange for the correct product, I still cannot understand why they don't want to.
