For the past 6 months I've been trying to order a service book. It's R168 VAT apparently.
Seems a simple process. You arrive at the branch, order the book and they'll call you once it's arrived. If only that was the case. After several visits and calls, asking where this service book is, I've been told by various people that it "just hasn't been ordered". Earlier this week I called them up and asked if I could have the book for my service on Monday, that way allowing them a week to get one for me. I was told I needed to pay a 50% deposit for this book. All new to me. I asked them to email me the invoice and I'd do it electronically. No email, nothing. This morning, I again called and asked if the book had been ordered? I was told, "There's nothing on the system." I then spoke to Mark. Gave him my email and contact number in case there were any problems, but asked him to call me to anyway, just to confirm everything was through. No call. When I again had to phone him, I was told the email wouldn't go through and the number I gave him was wrong... even though he confirmed both to me over the phone. While chatting to him, he put the phone down on me. I'll probably never see the book!
