Poor handling of Home Loan Application!!!

I applied for a home loan 2 months ago and all was going well. I received requests from a Standard Bank home loan agent a few times for extra required documentation. All documentation were submitted on each request. A month and a half after application I heard nothing back and called to follow up on the application only to be closed because I had not submitted all documentation. I was outraged as I did as requested each time as I mentioned to the call centre agent. She then says yes they did receive the last transmission of documents but not all pages went through. I asked why they could not have called me to let me know so that I could resend and she says that the lady handling the application tried to which is FALSE! I demanded that the application be re-instated so I was asked to resend which I emailed this time rather than fax. Followed up on that only to be told the application is still closed even though they received the documentation only because the call centre agent didn't place a note for escalation! I was asked to re-apply which is unacceptable as my financial score has now dropped due to my initial application! This is pathetic service and unacceptable!
