After experiencing poor service before from FNB i decided to go to Benmore Gardens branch in August 2013. The consultant Kershnee was unprofessional with regard to opening up my gold cheque account as she was multi tasking from one client to another. I advised her that i would return to collect my documents as i was on lunch at the time. I returned a week later to find out at enquiries that my account has not been activated. The enquiries consultant tried calling her as she was sitting in one of her colleagues offices by the name of Farhad Alley. She responded by saying "tell the client to wait". I immediately spoke to the branch manager who addressed the issue and got Farhad to process the activation of my account. Farhadd told me to deposit money at the tellers so when i got to the tellers, they asked me why didn't i go to the Atm as it's much cheaper. So after making a deposit i returned to him and everything was resolved. A week later i collected my card, yet I'm unable to make pos purchases or withdraw cash, the internet banking cannot be activated and even the call centre couldn't help me. The service i have received has been appaling and shocking. I will now close this acc
