I have a long standing relationship with FNB (over 30 years). In 2011, I became unemployed and could not service my credit cards and overdraft facilities well. As a result, FNB I went into an agreement with FNB to service by account at R 2, 100 per month for my credit card. In spite of this, they would debit whatever amount they require from my account. Consequently, I have resorted to transfering my money to another account to stop them from doing as they please with my account. I would always leave enough money to pay my debts.

This month, they decided to take R10, 000 from my account without talking to me. On enquiry, they were rude and told me that they can do as they please on my account as dictated by terms and conditions. I feel that I should be in charge of my own account and not have all sorts of people accessing my account and deducting money as they please. I spoke to Lavin Jordaan at FNB number 087 736 6717, who explicitly told me I can go to as I have broken the agreement, which I dont have with them. I need my money back and agreement to pay what I can afford.
