QUITE RISKY TO TRUST STANDARD BANK WITH YOUR MONEY

After reporting on my account in July, standard bank couldn't provide me with feedback on my case unless I call and enquire myself. After over a month, they demand that I send my phone itemised billing. Which I supply them with on 01 September 2013. Today, September 19, I called to check how far they were with the investigation. Only to be told the decision was taken on the 04th September that I will only be paid back the first amount withdrawn from my account and the second transaction was due to my negligence. Apparently I should keep looking in every single SMS that comes to my phone. I wonder if there is anyone who sit and wait for SMS's on their phone and read them immediately.

I still cannot understand why they could not communicate the decision to me, but I know it's difficult to come out as a big company and tell your client you are taking the little that they worked hard for by force.

Now that I know how risky it is to bank with Standard Bank, I have decided to take my accounts somewhere else. It's not like I reported the case after hours, I have decided not to take the payment Standard Bank promised to pay me back, not unless they pay the whole amount.
