Uncleared cheque and allround bad service

I am utterly disappointed with the service I am receiving from your company. A cheque was paid into my account on Monday already and is still not cleared. Are we living in the dark ages. Why does it take this long? I called your call centre this afternoon and the consultant said it takes 7 working days which I can not accept as I need the funds urgently. The consultant then said I can go to the nearest branch and ask for special clearance.

So off I go Mutual Park Standard bank, only for the consultant there to tell me that I should have requested this when the payment was made and he cant help me. Which is ridiculous.

I want this funds cleared today as I need the money tomorrow. I am receiving no interest on this money as well but I bet Standard Bank is gaining interest on this funds along with millions of other unsuspecting Standard Bank customers.

This must be done today and someone needs to call me to apologise for the inconvenience your processes and staff ignorance has caused me.

Received few emails from complaints area at Standard bank but with no assistance at all.
