I find it absolutely despicable and unacceptable that in this electronic age where I can send funds overseas in an hour, it takes Standard Bank more than 12 hours to clear funds that were transferred via EFT from one Standard Bank account to another. That's right, STANDARD, from one account to another AT THE SAME BANK!!! I work as a freelance consultant so funds availability is vital to me, but, no, Standard decide if and when to release my money!!! TAKE NOTE STANDARD, MY MONEY!!! Someone needs to take these to task once and for all. I will be emailing the banking ombudsman today as well. "moving forward" like, more like "the more things change, the more they stay the same" Absolutely disgusting "service"!!! More like disservice!!! Standard need to catch a wake-up!!!
