EFT STDBNK TO STDBNK 24 HOURS???

I recently opened a Standard bank account and am very disspointed in the service so far. Firstly I have gone into the branch twice to set up the OTP pin to use internet banking and still can't get it to work.

Last night a deposit was made into my account from a STANDARD BANK ACCOUNT and 16 hours later the funds have still not cleared. I urgently need to make a payment but can not get the funds out my account.

I phoned the bank this morning and they said it can take 0 - 24 hours - I actially laughed at the poor call centre operator as I could not believe this - all other banks are immediate if it's the same bank and you even have the option to clear immediately if to another bank.
My husband went into the bank after 12 today to find out what is going on and they now say it can take up to 2 business days to clear - how is this possible in 2013 that one bank can be so behind with technology.???
I will defenitely be closing this account!
