Cancelled my insurance

I recently had a problem and emailed BMW Insurance asking for their banking details so that I could pay the arrears on my insurance.

I warned them 2 days before the debit order that I wouldn't have enough money in the account but I would transfer the money to their bank account as soon as I received the banking details and reference number.

They waited more than a week AFTER the debit order didn't go off to respond. PATHETIC!!!

They responded in saying my policy had been cancelled due to non-payment, even though I gave them enough warning they still decided to cancel all my policies for all my cars and house.

I believe they only did this because they were aware that I was busy with a claim and that this way they wouldn't have to pay.

My car is at a BMW dealer and they can't fix it since my policy has been cancelled.

this means i now have to walk to work.

The damage to the vehicle happened whilst the car was insured and had fully paid installments.

I believe BMW is just trying to dodge fixing the car.

what a disgrace to the BMW name!
