CONTRACT CANCELLED WITHOUT NOTIFICATION

My husband and I are separated. I left communal home a year ago pending divorce action. Since 2008 my policies are paid per debit order by my husband. I phoned Mutual in November enquiring whether payments are up to date. I also updated my contact details and requested immediate notice should a problem arise. My husband cancelled (date unknown to me) payment of the debit order towards the policy ceded to my children but the one ceded to him, was kept intact. On 27/1/2013 he realised that payment did go through which he disputed at bank and debit order was subsequently reversed. This brought about that my policy was in arrears on the 27/1/13 for January's payment. I received no notification from Mutual. Due to debit order being cancelled, February's payment also did not go through. Mutual informed me via email on Sunday 3/2/13 that "premiums" are in arrears without referring to which and that cover is cancelled. I immediately responded by return mail but received no reaction. Thereafter I tried to resolve telephonically on 8/2/13 but was treated rudely and informed that arbitrator can only respond within 20 days on my written complaint. I please want this to be investigated
