i was involved in a car accident on the 6th Sep. followed the correct procedures notifying my insurance. the they quick to respond to my claim. on the 12th Sep they advised that my car was a write off which was a total shock to me. i asked the consultant i was dealing with do give me a day or two 2 decide on what to do. whether i give them the car or fix it myself which he agreed on. i was disgusted and shocked after getting an email 2 hrs later from miway insurance asking me to give them the keys and original registration papers. they even went to the extend of telling me that they can send a driver to collect the keys and documents. to top it all of they have Barloworld on standbye should i need to purchase a new car. i am highly disgusted at this service and email. does the insurance not give a client time to digest the news that the car is a write off. who gave the insurance authority 2 decide on the clients behalf. is this how you treat your customers.
