1. My cheque card stopped working, i went into the Clearwater branch to figure out what was going on, they sent me around the branch for half a day with no solution.now I must pay for a new card when it's the banks fault that my card stopped working and I'm invonvinienced because I have to use the replacement debit card until I recieve my new card. The debit card is more expensive on transactions. And I wasn't able to draw any cash at the ATM, I had to withdraw in the bank and was charged extra for this.
2. I called the card division and ordered a new card. I asked for it to be delivered to the Northgate branch.
3. I received a SMS saying: please collect your Standard Bank personal card at Northgate Branch with your ID, Salary advice and proof of residence. This was sent to me on the 15/08/2013.( why do I need to provide all these documents when it's the banks fault that my card isn't working)
4. I went to the bank collect my card, waited in the queue and when I got to the teller she said my card wasn't there. I was told to phone and orders new one. PATHETIC. I asked for the manager and was told the manager was too busy to see me. I'm still waiting for the managers call.
