I have left South Africa to work abroad for a few months, and before I left I went into a branch to update my cell phone number, and this has not been done, and i cannot access my account. Now we are discussing this issue over email (at a rate of roughly one email a day) each mail i send gets picked up by a new person, we are going in circles, it has been a week and still we are nowhere. I explained this is an urgent case, and can it please be done quickly, clearly asking far too much from the bank, as i do not get responses often and when i do its not helpful in any way. I have given them a contact number to reach me, they do not call. I have asked often to speed up the process, but as i have learnt. Business as usual is slow. I did not want to have to post this here, and I warned that I would if I did not get resolution, I am doing this purely to get access to what is mine, and i made the mistake of trusting this company. A mistake I intend to change as soon as I can. in the meantime, I still need to get this done. please do not respond to this unless it is a resolution, I am now unhappy and betrayed. and I will not forget this. ever. as it has caused issues in my life.
