I have a personal loan with Nedbank, i called the call centre last week monday for a settlement amount of which i was advised and they also gave me "banking" details to settle. As I tried to do the EFT payment from and Fnb account it kept saying the account number is invalid to a point where i went to fnb to get one of the consultants to assist me with settling my loan, but with no luck after calling the nedbank contact centre 5 times with the fnb consultant and being given different account numbers; eventually i gave up, so i called them them again on wednesday to rather make an arrangement of that amount to be debited (R45470) which they said they will debit on the 31st of August, only for them to debit R20 000. when i called them again yesterday i was transfered from collections to settlements back to collections until i ran out of airtime (47 minutes on a useless call) collections said they cant debit me as i need a settlement hence i must be transfered after i had explained that i did get a settlement of R45470 and only R20 000 was debited and collections said there is nothing they can do; as they insist that the acc and ref is the same number.
