Standard Bank sending me SMS for someone else's ac

Three or four years ago I was given a company cell phone which had previously belonged to a Mr. Nel. At that stage Mr Nel left the country but presumably did not update his Standard Bank details. In the last month or so his account has gone into overdraft and I am receiving daily phone calls and SMSs form Standard Bank. I have told the callers that the phone belongs to me and that Mr Nel has left the country (I don't know where he moved to) but Standard Bank refuse to remove my number from his account. Now every SMS (or call) I am receiving I make a point of telling those around me how unhelpful Standard Bank has been in resolving this issue and will continue to give bad publicity to Standard Bank until this issue is sorted out
