I did an application for a smart account online and was then asked to collect my card at the closest branch being canal walk century city. I took time out of my lunch under the impression this would be a quick transaction, however to my dissapointment I was told by an consultant at collections that I would need to wait in a long line to see a consultant. This after waiting almost 15 - 20mins after his colleague seated next to him went on a break or something, while the line I was in was growing longer and longer. I do not see the need to speak to a consultant when the application was approved online and I brought all necessary documents to simply collect a card. I feel the consultant named Faldie who poorly assisted me could have scanned my information himself and activated the card/ account. I have heard so many great things from friends and colleagues about FNB and this has really made me contemplate as to whether ot not FNB`s motto " how can we help" is at all true. Deeply deeply dissapointed.
