A week later and still no assesment!

I had a bumper bashing and put through a claim last week Monday, i asked that the assessor contact my wife to set up a time when she could have the car assessed. now its a week later and i had to phone the call centre to try and get this resolved, what happened to quick service a week is NOT acceptable, SORT IT OUT!
