3 Weeks and still no feedback

I lodged a claim with Discovery insure on the 15th of March and everything seemed to have been quite rapidly handled. They collected my car on the same day but with the holidays coming up they could only get an assessor to inspect the car on the 18th March.

I was called on the 19th by the assessor who explained that the car had been assessed and a value had been determined. Additionally the report had been sent through to Discovery Insure. Everything was sounding really good...

On the week of the 25th I phoned in as I had not heard any feedback regarding my claim. I was told that Khanyisile was handling it and will feedback the same day... Nothing

Fed up I phone on the 3rd April and was put on endless hold by another consultant. I eventually hung up and phoned again. This time, the consultant told me that it was with a senior assessor. I asked why I had not been informed, and they said that Khanyisile should have informed me. I was told she will phone me, but I declined, demanding this situation gets escalated to a senior manager. I was told a manager will contact me... still waiting.

I will be phoning again tomorrow to demand further action as this type of service is pathetic
