I should never have moved from Outsurance, i have never had issues with them after being on the insurance for 5-6 years. i came over to Discovery only from March and already i regret every second of the stupid change over. i had a little bumper bashing on the 3rd of July. i wasn't notified that a assessor has been to the premises to quote on my car. i queried what was happening a week later and then i was told a quote was sent but they are waiting for approval, they sent me the quote, only one quote. Monday 15.07 i was notified that this quote was accepted and that my car will be fixed. firstly i would have thought that any company would need 3 quotes, but obviously not Discovery. On this notification sent on the 15.07 it showed me that my excess is R2750. which i then queried, because according to me and my documents it was R2000. i was told a mail was sent 24.04 for notification of the increase. i keep all mails, i haven't received this mail and even if i had, i would never have just left it without querying it, seeing that i was only on discovery since march. until now this has not been resolved after numerous promises that someone will phone me from Discovery.
