Outsurance no use at all

We have Outsurance Buildings cover, but they have never approved any claims in 7 years. Everything is always maintenance or "wear and tear". Our latest request is for the oven. The element packed up and the oven casing got a hole in. Outsurance says this is wear and tear. They sent us the full explanation of what is covered and what is not, 56 pages.
It is amazing to read that they'll cover you for something but the clauses around the cover is so detailed that at the end of it all it overrides the cover and they are covered as maintenance or wear and tear.
SAD, BUT TRUE.
So be very careful before taking buildings insurance from Outsurance.
