I went into Old Mutual Kempton Park branch on the 17th July, surrendered one of my policies and applied for a new policy. the activation of my policy was done correctly- which is good as you will be taking my MONEY. As for the cancelled policy, I'm struggling to get my pay out. I was told that it will be done within 7 working days. on the 7th August I phoned in your Call Center & WAS TOLD THAT MY BANK REJECTED PAYMENT FROM OLD mutual AND THIS IS AS I WENT TO MY BANK & THERE IS NO SUCH. i was then given a reference number 2204715 & told that my query will be attended to. I then phoned again & my call was taken by Vuyo Qupe who said that his supervisor Elizabeth Mashaba said this payout will be sorted out today & she will also phone me for confirmation. WELL, IT'S 10:15 PM & I HAVEN'T HEARD ANY FEEDBACK. I WANT TO CANCELL ALL MY POLICIES WITH OLD MUTUAL, i WANT ALL MY PREMIUMS PAID FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS and i dont want to have anything to do with you anymore. It is easy for you to call me when you offer your services but it's a problem to call me when I have quiries.
