Hi there. I want to advise and make everyone aware of a prolonged and unprofessional counter I have had with nedbank. I opened an account in January 2012. I work in New Zealand and had kept the account for deposits only. In June I found that r1000 was taken out in 2 transactions in June.. I called nedbank I was on the phone for 3 hours midnight nz time trying to see what the transactions were they gave me a third party number claiming that the third company party had taken my money. After a rude abrupt call to that third party company they said it had nothing to do with them and that nedbank has taken the money, I feel so ripped of, ..my bank is suppose to be the one company that I can trust. I tried my best to explain to nedbank I'm calling from overseas and require help. The call centre hung up on me twice the department never picked up. And the legal, team got me to call Johannesburg Cape Town and Durban to resolve issue..to date I have not had this resolved and I am stuck in overseas with this creepy nedbank and their unlawful policies with no help given. Upon my return to South Africa I will be moving all my investments away to another bank.
