I noticed a double service fee charge on my January bank statement. Did some investigation into my account and discovered that on my type of account there should be no service fee charge as I am already paying a maintenance charge. I then queried this at the Nedbank where I was told that this is a known issue. When looking back at my bank statements this has been an issue since 2010.

I have two issues :
1. Nedbank is only willing to reimburse me for the 2013 error and say the rest is too far back. What kind of client service is this. Nedbank made an error. Nedbank is aware of their system bug causing this issue yet they feel it acceptable to my hard earned money and when caught out will not pay it back? If all my money is not paid back I will take this to the OMBUDSMAN.
2. How many other people is Nedbank from? Nedbank is aware of this issue that is costing their clients money, but is doing nothing about it. Why are they not doing anything? Sounds like plain and simple to me.

Get your house in order Nedbank. It is never OK to a persons money!
