I opened a new bank account and instructed them not to allow any debit orders to go off due to the fact that I had a company debiting my previous account. I HAVE NOT GIVEN ANYONE THE RIGHT TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT . I was assured by Nedbank staff that if I open a new account I will not have a problem but now that same debit order went off the new account and when I contacted Nedbank they are not interested. I tried to call the CEO but he thinks he is too important to speak to a client and the service center just wastes a persons time and now I get told I must wait 48 hours for my money to be returned to me that Nedbank allowed and facilitated in the of said money. So beware if you want to bank with this bank as your money will not be safe as NEDBANK CAN NOT BE TRUSTED.
