Delayed payment to my recovered excess

I received communication two weeks ago in respect of a motor accident I was in in August 2011. In this respect, I was informed that the other party had settled liability for the accident and that my excess would be re-imbursed.

I have been contacting the consultant on my case this whole week and have been hearing the same story about how my reimbursement still requires authorisation from his manager.

I feel that this matter has gone on for long enough (taking into account that my accident occured 2 years ago), the last thing I need to be doing and phoning the Budget Insurance offices who know all too well the patience I have had to excersice with having to gather witnesses of the accident, drawing up sketches and the likes.

I really need this matter to be settled.
