Budget Rent A Car

I was involved in a car accident on the 2nd of January 2013, Immediatly after the accident I reported it to the police and drove through to Budget to advise them of the accident, the car was in drivable condition. I have since Phoned and mailed to get an update on my Excess recovery, no one gets back to me at all its now almost 2 months how long can this take? I know that the person that drove into me has Insurance and I hgave all the details to Budget. Can someone please give me an answer, I send emails and only get sent to the next person or get an email with no body???
