The 6 month repair job

A storm in early February knocked out my gate motors, intercom, and lights and caused a roof leak. I submitted the claim to Ooba in mid-February). Eventually Ooba's sub-contractors repaired the lights and replaced the gate motors. A few weeks later they "fixed" my roof.

I've subsequently had the contractors back repeatedly as the gate still doesn't close properly - a huge safety concern because anyone can slip through the gate and my young children can slip out. I've also complained about the installation of the intercom - the new model is smaller and now there are exposed wires at the gate.

And the roof still leaks. Each time the contractor returns they simply repaint the ceiling. The crack in the ceiling board is widening and needs to be replaced. My fear is that the board will rot and fall out.

It's now been 6 months and I'm dazzled by the lack of service (@ R6000/year). On the 13th of June I asked to speak to a manager, (Glenys) to resolve the issue. She was busy - I was told she'd call back, but still nothing from Glenys. On the 27th of June I sent an email complaint to Ooba (with photos) and still nothing. I've now turned to Hello Peter to try and elicit a response.
