OOBA fails under pressure

I lodged a claim with OOBA on the 22nd of November 2013. After continuously having to phone and not getting anywhere they eventually told me that they can not get hold of their assessors and I must get my own assessor?? I have done this but I was then told that the assessors are not on their panel and I now have to play the middleman between the assessor and OOBA. Every time I phone OOBA to follow up I can not get hold of any body at their call centre and when I do I have to hear that the claims department is very busy and someone will phone me which never happens. I have lodged my claim on the date of loss with the hope of having my damages repaired as soon as possible but it has been a month and I have even had the courtesy of a phone call from anybody. How pathetic. I am taking this to the Insurance Ombudsman.
