Bad Service dished up with a Bad Attitude

Yesterday I was quoted on taking out insurance for myself through your company. I did not for two reasons:

1. Overpriced compared to comparative quote
2. Poor service received from your claims department in my 3rd party claim

Today after following up with your 3rd party department and having the displeasure of dealing with your staff there, I do not regret my decision at all.

4 months after initially submitting my claim (and after many follow ups), I'm no closer to a result. The agent I have dealt with at no point explained the 3rd party claim process to me and has not once ever been available when I called or been able to give me an answer on the progress with the claim. I was told today that if I had an issue - I should phone back (again) to speak to a manager who would probably just refer my call back to the agent.

I was also advised that as I'm not a client of Outsurance I don't have right to complain. This is your mistake - Just because I'm not a current client, does not mean I could not have bee a future client. I can choose who to give my business to and after this nasty experience it will definitely not be Outsurance.
