Nedbank
Bond Approval takes > 3 months after acceptance

Business & Finance

I signed a purchase offer on 3 March 2013, and applied for a bond with Nedbank (through my business banker). This is in a trust structure, so it took a month for the approval to come through. On 7th April I received the approval, and returned the approval signed by the trustees on the 8th April. As I write this (on the 9th July - over 3 months later), the bond approval has still not worked through the system to the bond conveyancer. This is after my business banker has attempted almost daily to push this through the system. Kudos to Yusuf Toyer for all his efforts, but I am so frustrated at this incompetent bond system, I am at a loss what to do. The seller has placed me on terms, as he is intitled to do, so I need to come up with the bond within a week.

Can someone please push this through to the conveyancers?
