Why are PPS so late with tax certificates?

July and still no tax certificate from PPS - I think 50% of the South African population knew when "tax season" was opening but PPS can't supply you with a tax certificate on time!

When I call the call centre on Tuesday they tell me that I will have it by Friday - guess what? Its Friday and nothing yet from PPS! Is PPS going to pay me lost interest on my tax refund that now is delayed because I don's have my certificate - don't be ridiculous just the usual "we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused" line.

As I always conclude dealings with PPS - the most non-professional society/institution/company I deal with but claim to everything they are not!
