How long should I wait???

I've applied for a home loan from standard bank. The whole process started in March 2013 already. It was approved and we already signed the documents and accepted the bond in April 2013 (Although we had approved bonds from other banks as well, we decided to go with Standard bank). It's been almost 4 months now and the bank still didn't give instruction that the attorneys can go ahead with registration. It means the registration process at the deeds office did not even start yet. How is it possible that NO ONE can tell me what the problem is and why it is talking so long? If we don't get a go ahead before the end of the week we're going to lose the house. The sad thing is that I moved ALL my accounts to standard bank because they granted me the bond and I choose to use one bank for all my stuff. I actually also had to struggle about two months just to open the prestige plus current account while my husband was able to open an account at FNB within 2 days. No one at the call center can tell me what to do, except to wait. And I can't wait any longer!!! As a "valued" customer I'm really disappointed that this stage.
