Disappointed and Frustrated!!!

I have to tell how bitterly disappointed I am in the service I am receiving from FFW regarding my claim! I was involved in a Motor vehicle accident on Friday 21st June, I contacted FFW on friday when it happened and was given the authorisation for the vehicle to be towed. I then reported it to the SAPS and subsequently phoned first thing on monday to sort everything out with FFW. I was on the phone for - 1/2 hour going through the claim procedure ect, which was long but relatively painless, up to then everything seemed ok! It is now the 3 July - 12 days after the fact and no one seems to know what is going on... apparently it is being "assessed" by the underwirters. I have been driving since 2005 completely accident AND claim free. I am a single mother with no other means of transport! but I am told by your underwriters to "give them another day or two" EXACTLY HOW LONG do you need to assess a claim??? No one seems to give a or give me answers! I am extremely frustrated as to the level of service delivery from FFW!! Can someone please tell me what is going on and if i need to be interrogated further that we do it asap so I can at least get my vehicle back!
