Have never had good service with nedbank... ever!!!

I went into this branch on the 4-05-2013 to close my account because of the bad service i already recieved from nedbank.when i got there, renata informed me that i needed to keep R300 in my account as one of my swipes never went off.she told me to withdraw in the branch at the tellers because the bank was closing.she also told me that she would only be able to close the account on the monday 6-05-2013 as the debit needs to go off and that she will inform me when the account is closed but never did.2 weeks later she calls to tell me that another debit never went off. i asked her how she missed this and she couldnt give me an answer, i told her i will pay the outstanding at the end of may as i get paid on the last day of the month and i refuse to pay the monthly fee as this is not my problem.she said she will inform her manager.when i went to pay the account i was told that i owed R400!! the agreement was to pay the R240 outstanding.when i emailed the branch manager, she was unhelpful and pointed the blame on me saying that it is my responsibility to make sure my swipes go off and i made an arrangement to pay 27-05 and i will be charged until its sorted . they even charged me a cash fee
